Lahore: Authorities concerned have initiated renovation work on underpasses on canal road, a news source reported. The maintenance project is a collaboration between Traffic Engineering & Planning Agency (TEPA) and Lahore Development Authority (LDA).
In the first phase, barriers, shield bars and signboards will be installed on Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (Muslim Town) underpass. The overall cost pertaining to the installation of signboards is estimate at PKR 200 million.
Maintenance work will be carried out on underpasses between Doctors’ Hospital and Mughalpura. LDA had approved the installation of signboards in 2017 but the project did not materialise.
