Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is all ready to open the underpass on 7th Avenue Interchange soon, according to news published in the leading newspaper on October 26.

CDA Chairman Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman Younis stated that the 7th Avenue Interchange has been completed and is open to traffic. He went on to say that the underpass will also be opened to the public in a few days. The chairman mentioned that the authority is focusing on completing other development projects on time.
As per the details, the interchange has been constructed at the junction of 7th Avenue, Khayaban-e-Suhrwardy, Srinagar Highway, and Garden Avenue near Aabpara. The said project features a cloverleaf design with four left and right loops and has an underpass to link the portions of Khayaban-e-Suhrwardy. The news source disclosed that all the loops of interchange have been opened to the public while carpeting of the Srinagar Highway’s portion was completed on Tuesday.

The CDA officials (whose names were not disclosed) stated that carpeting of the roads of the underpass will be started soon and will be completed within two days.
