London: Conflicts in the Middle East and the impending Brexit has people turning towards Gwadar for better returns, a leading investment manager Asim Bhutto was quoted as saying in a news report. He elaborated that investors from Britain, Europe and elsewhere are taking an increased interest in Pakistan and CPEC because their markets are not doing well due to uncertainty surrounding Brexit. Pakistan, on the other hand, is providing much better returns.
Asim Bhutto also said that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had done great work in Punjab and that it was really attractive for investors abroad as well. Lahore is one of the safest cities in Pakistan and infrastructure is great there, he added, so it presents another fantastic investment opportunity.
