The Global Humanitarian Response Plan will be implemented across vulnerable countries with the assistance of UN agencies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). The plan includes delivering equipment for testing for the coronavirus and essential medical supplies that could alleviate its physical effects. The UN also plans to launch public campaigns to spread awareness about sanitation protocols against the novel coronavirus and supply hand washing stations in settlements and camps.
