Lahore: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi stated that work will soon be started on Mubarak Centre on Ferozepur Road in Lahore, according to news published on September 30.

The ambassador met Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Chaudhry Parvez Elahi to discuss bilateral relations and investment opportunities. During the meeting, it was agreed that work on the first skyscraper of Lahore – Mubarak Centre – will be started soon. The news source stated that the said project will further enhance cooperation between the countries. The ambassador has also invited the CM Punjab to visit UAE.
In response, CM Elahi thanked the leadership of UAE for their prompt support for rehabilitation and aid for flood victims. The minister also welcomed the Dhabi Group’s investment in the Mubarak Centre.

It is pertinent to note that Mubarak Centre will feature a 7-star hotel and provide luxurious accommodation for the international players. The news source disclosed that the Mubarak Centre will be linked to Gaddafi Stadium to facilitate the international players, making it easy for them to come and go to the stadium.
