Lahore: Two more cities from southern Punjab will be added to Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP), a news source reported. Homes under NPHP will also be constructed in DG Khan and Muzaffargarh.
The Housing Task Force and Punjab government has decided to conduct site visits in the designated cities. The Housing Minister Punjab Mehmood ur Rasheed has stated that next week, he will visit the cities along with the team.
Previously, after the seven initial cities, the government had announced the addition of ten more cities from Punjab including Lahore and Multan into NPHP, where registration will take place in the second phase early next year. Now, with the addition of these two cities, the number of cities to benefit from NPHP stands at 19.
