Rawalpindi: The Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP) has announced to operate a double-deck bus service in the twin cities starting next month to promote tourism, according to news sources. The bus will bring tourists from Allama Iqbal Park, Shamsabad to Constitution Avenue through Shakarparian.

The Advisor to Chief Minister (Punjab) on Horticulture and Tourism Asif Mehmood said that the government is launching this project to promote the Potohar region. In the initial phase, one bus will run the route for both locals and tourists.

He said that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has been contacted to provide a terminal at Faisal Mosque and a no-objection certificate (NOC) to run the project. The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) will provide space for the terminal and TDCP will fund the entire project.
