Gujranwala: The local administration has converted 20 marriage halls and hotels into quarantine centres around the city, a news source reported.

As per reports, 568 beds have been installed in a total of 284 rooms in these quarantine centres to deal with any sort of emergency situation. Each room has two beds for transfer of suspected patients when needed.
According to details, the local authorities came into action after the people infected with coronavirus were found amongst those who had travelled abroad. A total of 601 people are suspected coronavirus positive in the Gujranwala district – out of these, 121 were pilgrims from Iran.

All of these suspected patients have been tested but results for about 400 of these are yet to be received. Furthermore, the local authorities have already begun taking steps to tackle any emergency situation in advance.
