Karachi: Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu recently announced the Turkish government’s decision to invest in urban transport and waste management initiatives in Sindh, a news source reported on January 15.

He expressed his views on the matter during a reception hosted by Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah at the Chief Minister’s House. Provincial ministers and chief secretary were all present at the occasion.
CM Murad invited Turkish investors to explore investment opportunities in renewable energy, coal mining, waste management, and urban transport in the province. He further stressed the need to exchange business delegations for promotion of bilateral ties.

In response, the Turkish minister reiterated his government’s commitment to working with the Government of Sindh; adding that investors from Turkey would visit the province to explore investment opportunities.
