Rawalpindi: Deputy Commissioner Saqib Zafar has announced the government’s intention to establish a trauma centre facility in Murree. He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting on Tuesday.

He ordered the officials concerned to prepare the PC-I for the project on an immediate basis. He said that the trauma centre would not only serve the locals, but also facilitate thousands of tourists who visit the hill station every year.
He stated that the provincial government was making efforts for the provision of basis facilities to the residents of Murree, Kotli Sattian and Kahuta – with the latter being developed as new tourist destinations.

Moreover, Rawalpindi Commissioner MNA Sadaqat Abbasi directed the authorities concerned to get the PC-I of the project approved in order to commence with the construction process. He also reviewed the progress on various uplift projects.
