Following the details, the City Traffic Police (CTP) states that those who travel from Gulberg and Firdous Market back to Walton Road should take the route that involves Khurshid Alam Chowk, taking a left turn at RA Bazar, and continuing along Ahmed Bakhsh Road to Cavalry beneath the Jinnah Flyover.
With Walton Road, commuters are advised to take Street 6, 5, and 2 in Cavalry Ground as an alternative route, leading to Cavalry, Gulberg, and Firdous Market. This diversion promises to alleviate the traffic burden in the vicinity.
Furthermore, motorists heading from Walton Road to Lahore Cantt and DHA are urged to temporarily detour through the construction zone to reach Cantt, where a designated U-turn to DHA will be available at the conclusion of the proposed flyover.
Similarly, the route from Cantt to Walton Road will also take a detour around the project area. Cantt residents heading to Gulberg and Firdous Market are encouraged to opt for Shami and Jail Road for a hassle-free commute.
Besides these routes, travellers moving from Gulberg and Firdous Market to Cantt have two options, either taking the Jinnah Flyover route through Khalid Butt Chowk and Khurshid Alam Chowk or the Jail Road route.
For convenient access to the CSD and PSO Pump situated on Masood Anwari Road, motorists can opt for Street 5 or Street 2, connecting to Link Street 7 in Cavalry Ground.
