Karachi: The Sindh government has decided to construct a world-class tourist resort at Keenjhar Lake, a news source reported on June 4. This decision was made during a meeting of the steering committee on tourism, which was chaired by Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh.

Reportedly, the provincial government has taken this step in response to directives issued by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, who emphasized the development of Keenjhar Lake as a tourist destination. The Energy Minister stated that a suitable location for the tourist resort at Keenjhar Lake is currently being determined. He further added that establishing a resort at Keenjhar Lake would create employment and business opportunities, as well as serve as a source of foreign exchange.

According to the details, the resort will provide tourists with modern facilities to ensure a unique experience. The Energy Minister highlighted the abundance of tourist sites in the area and expressed that the availability of modern facilities would attract foreign tourists as well.
