Islamabad: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Managing Director Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor Khan has said that the government is moving forward to implement its development plans for tourism, according to a news report. Adding to his statement, he said that the northern areas are attracting a multitude of tourists every year, and further development would add more tourists to the mix annually.
Khan believes that tourism is emerging as a major source of economic development across the world, and contributing towards the economic uplift of many countries. He added that development of tourism wasn’t possible earlier because of the law and order situation, but now the timing is right to go ahead with these policies.
