Lahore: The total land acquired for LDA City after the Supreme Court’s decision has risen to 1,400 kanals, a news source reported. The apex court had ordered the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to compensate the 9,000 file holders of the project .
SC had given the agency up to 8 months to acquire enough consolidated land for its 9,000 aggrieved file-holders.

The developing partners have now provided 1,400 kanals of land to the LDA; with the process of transfer having begun.
The governing body of the Lahore Development Authority has given the approval for the layout plan of LDA City Phase I – to be spread out over 13,000 kanals.

On this land, 85 two-kanal plots, 2288 one-kanal plots, 4231 ten-marla plots, and 4793 five-marla plots will be demarcated.
