Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Mr Ahmed Aziz Tarar presided over a meeting on Thursday (July 15) to assess the topographic survey of the LDA-Avenue 1 housing scheme, news sources reported.
The meeting was briefed about the progress status of the LDA Avenue 1 development work. The DG directed the concerned authorities to expedite the work on various projects in the scheme to make it an ideal housing project in the city. Some of the decision regarding the development work in the meeting are as follows:
The DG LDA established special committees to oversee the construction of state-of-the-art mosques in LDA-Avenue 1 and Jubilee Town.
Construction of a community centre, a jogging track, and a sports complex was approved for the project.
Formation of a plan was ordered to improve the sewage system in collaboration with the Lahore Water and Sanitation Agency (LDA).
