Shangla: The Besham Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) has asked the owners of commercial high-rise constructions being developed along the Karakoram Highway to submit their building plans to the local building control authority.

To this effect, the officials concerned have asked the management of as many as 13 hotels in Besham to submit building drawings to the said authority. Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) Mazhar Muzaffar Awan stated that private developers were required to obtain approvals for their projects from the authorities concerned.

He said that the TMA had sought the drawings from the owners of at least 13 buildings within three days; adding that the administration intends to issue similar notices to residential constructions in the second phase of the ongoing regularisation drive.
