Karachi: Sindh Government has completed one of its mega projects, Tipu Sultan Road Flyover, which is to be inaugurated in the next couple of days, reported a news source. Inauguration of the flyover will ease traffic on the road and provide better commute facilities between Baloch Colony and Jail Chowrangi.
The project has been completed at a cost of PKR 700 million in a record duration of 7 months. The 500 kilometre long flyover will have two tracks on each side. According to estimates, 60 to 70 thousands cars will use the flyover on a daily basis.
According to Sindh Mega Projects Director Niaz Somroo, carpeting of the roads linked to the flyover will also be completed soon. It is expected that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah will inaugurate the flyover in a day or two.
