As per the information available, the ground-breaking ceremony of the Timergra-Khar-Mamad Gat Road had been held on September 28 and the planned avenue — estimated to cost PKR 7 billion to develop — is among the mega projects that had recently been launched in order to uplift the Bajaur district.
Moreover, the officials concerned revealed that development work on the project had been initiated a few days ago, and that it was being executed by the Frontier Work Organisation (FWO). The proposed road is expected to link the district with the neighbouring Lower Dir and Mohmand districts, which will help provide the locals access to modern communication facilities and create employment opportunities in the region.
