Timergara: The tehsil council plans to implement building by-laws in Timergara, a news source reported. The implementation will follow an awareness programme; conducted in this regard for the sake of educating the stakeholders.
The council took the decision during a meeting chaired by the tehsil nazim Riaz Mohammad. The council said building by-laws will be implemented under the Local Government Act 2013. Local traders and residents of the areas will first receive an awareness session.

The council informed that engineers and architects will create building plans and designs. Additionally, facilities such as wheelchair accessibility, car parking, and other necessities will be ensured in new plazas and buildings.
The tehsil nazim said this step will not only ease traffic problems in bazaars, but protect people during emergencies like floods and earthquakes. After the awareness campaign, the council strictly plans to enforce the by-laws. The Police Department and Dir Levies will help in this regard.
