Multan: Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) Secretary Amjad Shoaib Khan Tareen has directed the relevant officials to ensure timely completion of construction of the South Punjab secretariat, a news source reported on August 17.

A meeting was held to review the progress of South Punjab Secretariat, which was chaired by S&GAD Secretary Tareen. He emphasized the need for diligent monitoring of daily advancements in the construction process.
He also highlighted that any form of negligence or delay would not be tolerated. Tareen further called for comprehensive updates on various project aspects, including electrical, mechanical, and sewerage components.

The Infrastructure Development Authority Punjab (IDAP) has been instructed by Tareen to promptly furnish the physical and financial plan for the secretariat. The establishment of the civil secretariat in South Punjab is expected to enhance interdepartmental coordination and expedite the resolution of public issues in alignment with the vision to serve and facilitate the masses.
