Multan: Multan Deputy Commissioner (DC) Amir Khattak has directed the staff engaged with the city’s ongoing development projects to compete the assigned work by June 30, a news source reported. He gave these instructions while presiding over a meeting held to review the progress on ongoing development projects.

Furthermore, the DC also warned that the respective officials will be held responsible if their projects are not timely completed. In addition to this, he also directed them to frequently inspect the quality of work by visiting the project sites. Reportedly, these measures are being taken to help reap benefits from the prime minister’s relief package offered for the construction sector.
As per reports, Khattak also announced the width of the road connecting Pul Mouj Darya and Nawanshahr Chowk to be 60 feet. For this purpose, additional 10 feet of land will be acquired on both side of the dual carriageway. The DC also instructed his staff to ensure contractors are timely paid so the development work continues smoothly.
