Lahore: Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister (CM) Syed Mohsin Naqvi visited the project site of the Cavalry Ground Underpass and the Ghora Chowk Flyover to review the progress and shared the deadline for their completion, according to news published in the leading newspaper on November 17.

As per the details, significant progress has been achieved in the construction of both mega uplift projects. The anticipated completion date for the Cavalry Ground Underpass is set for November 25, while the Ghora Chowk Flyover is expected to be finished by December 7.

During the visit, the CM assessed the ongoing work and the quality of construction. He emphasized the need for regular water sprinkling on the sites to ensure optimal conditions. Addressing the occasion, he highlighted that upon the projects’ completion, a signal-free corridor would connect Gulberg’s Center Point to Ghora Chowk, Defence Morr. This corridor is anticipated to greatly benefit residents of Kalma Chowk, CBD, Cavalry Ground, Defence Housing Authority (DHA), and Walton areas in the city.
