Karachi: Transparency International (TI) has asked the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to take notice of the unlawful allotment of expensive land in Karachi.
According to a news source, the land in question spans 600 acres and is worth Rs 400 billion. TI has told the NAB (Sindh) director that the provincial government of Sindh had illegally allotted this land located between Korangi Road and DHA Creek to the former secretary of the Sindh chief minister.
The news source reported further that the allottee was now trying to sell this land to the Defence Housing Authority.
