Lahore: Labour work on the construction of three shelter homes will be completed by the end of February – a news source reported.
Lahore Commissioner Dr Mujtaba Paracha expressed his views on the matter. He was chairing a meeting to review progress on the construction of these Panahgahs.

Sharing the details, Commissioner Paracha said that three of the five shelter homes will be ready for inauguration by the end of this month. The remaining two will be made operational by next month.
Moreover, the commissioner said that installation of utility connections in these buildings is underway. The Punjab government is setting up these shelter homes at Data Darbar, Sabzi Mandi, Lorri Adda, City Railway Station, and Thokar Niaz Beg.

Meanwhile, the commissioner has directed the officials concerned to handover five public toilets to the Lahore Metropolitan Corporation (LMC). He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting.
It was decided that the remaining three public toilets will be handed over to other government departments.
