Karachi Commissioner Iftikhar Shallwani recently made this announcement during a meeting. Pakistan Railways (PR) Divisional Superintendent Mazhar Ali Shah and deputy commissioners concerned were all present at the occasion.
The commissioner said that the provincial government wanted to determine the condition of the KCR track after the completion of the ongoing anti-encroachment operation.
For this purpose, it would request the federal government to conduct a test run on the track on a trial basis ahead of the complete launch of the KCR project.
