Islamabad: In a meeting held on April 17 to review the developmental progress made on stalled projects and sectors falling under the jurisdiction of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), authority officials informed CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed that tenders for initiating development work in Sectors E-12, I-12, I-15 and Park Enclave would be invited soon, a news source reported.

The CDA chairman was informed that the development authority had acquired possession of the required 450 kanals of land in Park Enclave II on Friday. Additionally, the process to mark the streets in the said project is currently underway. In response, the chairman directed the officials concerned to present the PC-1 for the construction of roads in Park Enclave II in the upcoming CDA Development Working Party meeting that is scheduled for next week.

During the session, chairman Ahmed was further informed that related processes to ascertain the expenses required to complete development work in the aforementioned CDA sectors was currently underway. The CDA will be able to invite tenders to initiate development work in these sectors in two weeks.
The CDA chairman took the opportunity to direct the authority’s officials to ensure that the process to finish the preliminary requirements for opening the tenders would be completed soon.
