Peshawar: The registration of tenants under the Security of Vulnerable and Sensitive Places Ordinance has helped improved law and order in the city, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police told reporters on Saturday.
According to a statement released from the Police office, the police took action against 1,812 owners for not providing details about their tenants during Q1 2015. Police also told reporters that they had registered cases against 411 hotels for not maintaining proper records of their guests.
The law kept militants from renting houses and hotels, said the police.
