Islamabad: A science and technology park will be established in the capital city with an aim to provide modern research facilities to students – a news source reported.

The Ministry of Science and Technology will develop the park in collaboration with COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI). The government recently allocated PKR 50 million for the project. A feasibility report has also been prepared to this effect.

Dr Raheel Qamar, Rector COMSATS University, said that the government wants to promote research and scientific education. He added that the park would also fan entrepreneurial activities, besides providing modern facilities under one roof.
