Peshawar: The Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) recently took part in an annual exhibition in the Republic of Tunisia — in an effort to promote tourism to the archaeological and heritage sites of the province — according to news sources. The three-day event was organized by the Tunisian business community, the National Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs, and the International Women Group.

The TCKP stall received the full cooperation of the Pakistan Ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia Muhammad Hassan and Deputy Head of Mission Shafiq Ahmad. The stall featured a special desk to guide visitors on the tourism and cultural potential of the province. People were also provided with brochures, posters, pamphlets and booklets for further information. Video documentaries were also displayed at the stall so that visitors would get a visual experience of the scenic beauty that can be found in the province.

The visitors and families of the attendees expressed great interest in the cultural heritage of the province, and were provided with all the details they required to visit the spectacular sites in KP in person.
