Peshawar: The Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) organises a jeep rally from Bab-i-Khyber to Swabi, a news source reported. The purpose was to promote tourism and highlight the potential of tourism in the province.
More than 70 jeeps participated in the rally. The rally took place along GT Road and went through Peshawar, Nowshera, Jehangira, among other towns on the road to reach its destination in Swabi and then raced back to Peshawar.
The rally was a part of activities for the World Tourism Day. The theme of this year’s World Tourism Day was Tourism and Digital Transformation.
