Peshawar: For temporarily displaced people of FATA region, tax on construction material and all food items has been completely abolished, stated a news report. The orders in this regard were issued by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Zaffar Iqbal Jhagra on Thursday during a conference of political agents held on Thursday.
Jhagra instructed the political agents to ensure that the issues faced by the tribal people are sorted out through jirgas, which a part of tribal traditions. He also said that the people of tribal regions have played their part in restoration of peace in the country. Jhagra also instructed the political agents to make arrangements for keeping the peace intact in the tribal areas.
