Gujranwala: The Gujranwala Municipal Corporation (GMC) has approved a tax-free budget of PKR 1.75 billion in its session, a news source reported. The budget was presented in the session by its chief officer and the session was headed by GMC’s speaker Rana Maqsood Ahmad.
In the budget, PKR 668 million has been allocated for payments on ongoing projects, while PKR 174 million has been allocated for other expenditures. No new taxes have been imposed under the budget except a 100% increase in slaughterhouse fee.
