Islamabad: An amount of PKR 23.5 billion has been turned white between December 7, 2016 and February 28, 2017 according to a news report.
According to details, 30,000 property transactions took place all over the country during the mentioned period to help turn money white. Through these transactions, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) collected a PKR 791 million tax on the difference between the Deputy Commissioner (DC) rate and the rates notified in FBR’s valuation tables.
