Islamabad: During the weekly National Coordination Committee’s meeting held on Thursday (November 26), Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan was informed of the ongoing consultations between the federal and Sindh governments with regard to the construction of 6,000 apartments under Pakistan Quarters project in Karachi, according to a news source.
The meeting was attended by Advisor to PM on Institutional Reforms Ishrat Hussain, Special Assistant to PM (SAPM) on Political Information Dr Shahbaz Gill and SAPM on Overseas Pakistani Zulfikar Bukhari. Housing Ministry secretaries and chief secretaries from all provinces also joined the session via video link.

The Housing Ministry secretary informed the PM that under the first phase of Pakistan Quarters project, 700 units will be constructed at an estimated cost of PKR 4 billion; adding that the development work at the project site would begin within three months.
