Peshawar: An international chain of luxury hotels plans to establish its business interests in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa – a news source reported.
Henri Hans WR Kennedie, president and CEO of Swiss International Hotels & Resorts, shared his views with Chief Minister Mahmood Khan. Several provincial ministers and bureaucrats were present in the meeting.

According to the CEO, the Swiss chain will construct hotels in Peshawar and Swat in the project’s first phase. In the second phase, more hotels will be established in Mardan, Chitral and Malakand.
In response, the chief minister said that the government accords priority to the development of the tourism sector. He added that the utmost efforts were being made to identify and develop tourist spots.

Meanwhile, Mahmood Khan has invited local and foreign investors to invest in the tourism sector. He was talking to a five-member delegation led by MPA Nazir Abbasi.
Provincial Minister for Information Shaukat Ali Yousufzai, CM’s Principal Secretary Mohammad Israr, Secretary Finance Shakil Qadir, and Secretary Tourism Shahid Zaman were all present at the occasion.
