Mingora: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan inaugurated several uplift projects including Malam Jabba to Shangla Top Road, according to media reports published in the national dailies on April 21.

The CM visited Kabal and Charbagh tehsils of Swat district to break ground and inaugurate different development projects. The minister performed the groundbreaking of the following projects:
- Malam Jabba to Shangla Top Road
- Khwazakhela Bypass Road
- Kanju Bypass Road
- Swat University Women Campus
- Junkiekhel, Azaikhel, Matorzai irrigation channel
- 132 kilovolts Kabal grid station
- Veterinary University
- Upgradation of Khwazakhela Hospital
Moreover, the project inaugurated included Tehsil Complex Kabal and the upgradation of Tehsil Headquarters Hospital to Category C Hospital. CM, addressing the media, stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has made multi-sectoral planning to lead the province on the way to sustainable development.

In another development, the Kalam Valley residents in Upper Swat have requested the CM Khan to take note of dilapidated roads and allot funds for the improvement of road infrastructure.
