Swabi: The Swabi Development Authority (SDA) on Thursday (April 07) held an auction of its nine residential plots, news sources reported. The authorities fetched a total of PKR 90 million from the auction.

Reportedly, the SDA auctioned off nine 1-kanal plots located in four sectors: B, C, D, and E. The highest bid of PKR 10.3 million was received for a one-kanal plot in Sector E. The participants of the auction were requested to deposit a PKR 300,000 guarantee fee, which would be reimbursed to unsuccessful bidders.
The winning candidates are required to deposit 25% of the total bid value within the first week after the bidding process is completed. While the outstanding amount will be paid in three months, On this occasion, investors and citizens lauded the SDA management for their investor-friendly policies.

In another development, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) started a week-long on-spot registration campaign for service providers in Mardan Region. KPRA teams visited various industrial units in Gadoon Industrial Estate and service providers in Swabi Bazar to give registration services at their premises and to educate them about sales tax on services.
