Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz has introduced environment-friendly initiatives as part of the Suthra Punjab Program aimed at improving cleanliness across the province, as reported in a news article on September 18.

As per the details, the program, for the first time, includes rural areas in large-scale cleaning efforts. CM Maryam stressed the need for proper waste disposal practices and called for a reduction in plastic use, which is a major source of pollution in the region.
