Karachi: Karachi Administrator, Chief Minister (CM) Advisor on Law Barrister Murtaza Wahab stated that sustainable engineering has a vital role to play in the construction sector, according to news published on November 28.

The administrator attended the two-day international conference organised by the NED University in Karachi. Administrator Wahab, while speaking at the conference, highlighted that sustainable engineering and development is the need of the hour. He went on to say that the positive impact of sustainable engineering can be witnessed in developed countries.
Moreover, the administrator stated that such international conferences are an opportunity to understand urban problems. In response to a question on climate change, Karachi Administrator Wahab reiterated that climate change has affected the world, adding that Pakistan is also facing the impact of climate change. He added that there is a need to look for sustainable solutions to problems related to climate change, water, and energy.
