Faisalabad: The Excise & Taxation (E&T) department of Faisalabad has launched a survey of properties along the 12 major roads in the city for the purpose of taxation – a news source reported.
The Secretary Excise had tasked the relevant officials with the job of evaluating and sending property tax notices to property owners currently outside the tax net.
The excise department expects that thousands of new taxable units will be identified through the survey of these major roads, which will boost revenue. This becomes even more necessary when considering the high revenue targets set this year.
The roads marked for survey include: Sheikhupura Road, Millat Road, Sargodha Road, Narwala, Jhang Road, Sarwala Road, Risalay wala Road, Samundri Road, Satiana Road, Jaranwala Road, Expressway, and Chak Jhumra Road.
