Lahore: The Revenue Department Lahore has imposed superstructure tax on transfer of houses constructed without a map, according to a news source. Under this tax, property owners will be paying an additional PKR 50,000 to PKR 300,000 for their houses.
As per the notification issued by the Revenue Department, all commercial and residential units in residential areas of Lahore need to have an LDA-approved map before ownership can be transferred to another person. The owners of houses and commercial units constructed without a map will be required to pay this tax for 100% covered area.
