It is vital to mention that the programme obtains its photographs and current information from the Pakistan Remote Sensing Satellite-1 (PRSS-1) that was launched into space on July 9, 2018, from the Jiuquan Launch Site Center (JLSC) in China. The PRSS-1 is Pakistan’s first indigenously built sun-synchronous satellite in Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
