Islamabad: A summary for the construction of low-cost housing societies for low-income groups and federal employees has been sent to the prime minister, a news source quoted Housing and Works Secretory for Parliament Syed Sajid Mehdi.
The National Assembly was informed that Islamabad faces a shortage of 20,000 houses. Moreover, since 1995, no housing project has been launched for government employees. Responding to this Mehdi said that development work on the proposed project will begin as soon as the prime minister approves the summary.
