Hyderabad: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Fuad Ghaffar Soomro on Wednesday sought suggestions from the local business community to resume business activities in the city, a news source reported.

The DC chaired a meeting with representatives of the business community at Shahbaz Hall. He asked the businesspersons in attendance to formulate a list of suggestions pertaining to the resumption of business activities in the Hyderabad. After the preparation of the list, the businesspersons will submit it to the DC office.
Soomro highlighted that they would request the Sindh government to reopen businesses in Hyderabad based on the submitted list. He added that resumption of businesses in the city would help revive the provincial economy amid the current pandemic situation.

The DC stated that based on the suggestions submitted by the business community, they would decide the operational timings of different commercial outlets. On the other hand, he said that it was the administration’s responsibility to implement law. He added that if anyone had experienced any injustice, they could contact the district administration and the Assistant Commissioner concerned for resolving the complaint.
