In August, a reconstituted commission was formed to review the Islamabad master plan. The original plan, created in the 1960s, was to be revised every 20 years. However, succeeding administrations failed to do so, resulting in only minimal adjustments. The reconstituted panel will evaluate and revise the plan using the official Islamabad Cadastral, which Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan launched in September.
