Karachi: The Water Board Managing Director Khalid Mahmood Sheikh has stated that Water Board is taking all possible steps to provide water to the residents of Karachi judiciously, a news source reported. He also added that strict actions will be taken against negligent officials. He was speaking in a meeting to discuss matters of water provision and its division in Karachi.
Sheikh stated that Water Board had significantly less water available to it than was needed for Karachi. To bring the water from a distance and then provide it to Karachiites was a long and arduous process. He said that water complaint centre was working in three shifts each and the online tanker centre was providing water to the residents within their homes.
