Islamabad: The Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Cabinet Division and Civil Aviation has expressed reservations over the increased estimated construction cost of the New Islamabad International Airport.
While speaking in a meeting of the Senate and National Assembly standing committees, Senator Kalsoom Perveen said that the estimated cost of the project had increased from Rs 37 billion to Rs 85 billion due to delays and technical faults.
