It’s been three years since the Defence House Authority (DHA) introduced DHA Gujranwala, but there are no traces of development in the society. Though 10-marla and 1-kanal plot files are being traded in the market, sale-purchase activity doesn’t seem too promising.
DHA has not yet launched the project officially, and this delay has kept many eagle-eyed investors away. So far DHA has only marked the area for the society, but that’s as far as progress goes.
On the other hand, the prices of plot files in DHA Gujranwala are not showing any favourable fluctuations. A rise or fall of PKR 50,000 happens every month, but no sudden jumps have been witnessed.
Currently, the prices of 10-marla and 1-kanal plots files in DHA Gujranwala are as follows:

These files are easily available in the market, but demand has been mediocre at best. Perhaps, the authority is focusing on DHA Multan and DHA Bahawalpur, which is why DHA Gujranwala is not getting much attention.
Should you invest in DHA Gujranwala in the current scenario?
DHA projects enjoy a great reputation and never disappoint their investors. Though DHA Gujranwala is not showing much progress these days, it doesn’t mean that prices will not escalate in the time to come. Prices are sure to shoot up once the official project launch is announced.
According to rumours, the project is expected to launch by mid-2017. However, DHA has not given its official word in this regard, so it’s no use paying heed to this news. Keep in mind that the project will prove fruitful only for those looking to invest in the long term.

Thanks for this article. DHA GUJ management shud take serious steps to launch this project immediately as many new societies r on the way in Gujranwala. I dont think later in future ppl will much attract to this project.
dha gujranwala is where it was 3 years ago but last 10 months have seen a massive price increase around 10 lac added in both catagories while dha is buying more land this means more files will come in market its a good news for new investors but bad for previous buyers as price are expected to remain same for some time but a big jump is expected in near future.

I don’t understand this article. It is true that no significant development has been done by DHA in last 3 years but to say that the prices are not showing any favorable fluctuations is actually very misleading! It is completely untrue that prices are increasing and dropping by every 50,000 every month. In fact if you see price trend since last 8 months, DHA Gujranwala is the second biggest gainer among all major societies in Pakistan (After DHA Multan) as its 1 Kanal prices have increased from 26 lacs in just Dec 2015 to 40.5 lacs. The prices have been rising despite the market recession after July 2016 when new tax policy was announced by Govt. Prices in all other schemes are still more or less at the same level they were in July 2016 but DHA Gujranwala prices have increased and have not fell in even a single month!
please further comment on future prospect. i know these are bright but in terms of investment for following years please predict
