Quetta: Authorities concerned have expedited the infrastructural development underway in Turbat, a news source quoted Balochistan Minister for Finance Mir Zahoor Buledi as saying. The minister revealed this information while chairing a review meeting of the Turbat City Development Programme Phase-II and Merani Housing Society.

Buledi stated that the people of Turbat were facing issues with infrastructure due to an influx of people from other parts of the province and country. He added that there was a need to start making concrete plans regarding the city’s expansion.
The minister stated that the provincial government was working on several development projects in the city to resolve public issues. He also assured that the relevant authorities would complete the Merani Housing Scheme on a priority basis.

Member Provincial Assembly Lala Rasheed Dashti, Commissioner Makran Division Captain (retd) Tariq Zehri, Additional Chief Secretary Planning & Development (P&D) Abdul Rehman Buzdar, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kech Zeeshan Sikandar, Deputy Project Director Engineer Rafique Ahmed, and district officials also attended this review meeting.
