Faisalabad: Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Additional Director General (ADG) Amer Aziz on Sunday inspected the implementation of the authority’s revised, anti-COVID, SOPs for FDA City’s one-window cell facility, a news source reported. The ADG also saw to various other administrative concerns upon the directions of the FDA Director General Muhammad Suhail Khawaja.

While inspecting the one-window cell at the Project Management Unit, the ADG advised the staff to follow all preventative measures – using facemasks and sanitizers – and adhere to the new SOPs. He ordered not to entertain applicants without face masks. Furthermore, he directed the management to provide hand sanitizers. He also maintained that they should guide the applicants about the preventative measures against the virus and information about the departmental work.
Aziz urged to timely expedite processing at the counter to avoid delays. He also inspected the security and instructed to stay alert for protecting the department’s property and assets. He directed the staff to vigilantly monitor violations of construction rules and regulations, and conduct regular monitoring and patrolling in this regard.
Later, the ADG visited the FDA City and inspected its fruit parks and other constructions. He said that proper care of the fruit plants should be taken and administrative support be provided to the allottees. He ordered that the construction rules and regulation be followed strictly to maintain a disciplined town planning.

During his visit, the ADG also pointed out at maintaining cleanliness, protecting the roadside plants, and monitoring encroachments. He also advised to control the unnecessary visits from unconcerned persons.
